By decree this fate was sealed
Police our lives with the absurd
Not an ounce of pity spared
As they condemn the love of others
Despite we love anyway ,
In the face of their hatred
How dare they cast their stones
Revolted by compassion?
Disgusted by love?
Theology/theocracy to justify
They learned this bigotry
How dare they cast their stones
Judge not lest you be judged
I'll take their book and play their game
Deep seated desires of a life unlived
Buried deep unable to admit [who they love]

Hearing the songs while reading the narrative behind the lyrics, I felt overwhelmed by this tragic story in which humans and artificial intelligence couldn't coexist side by side. Their reciprocal annihilation was inevitable. Except one "sole survivor, in a ship filled with memories. She had become the proof of Earth, proof that life had existed there, a voice for all the species and beauty we once knew". A dystopian concept dressed up in brilliant musicianship! @Slevin, thanks, I owe it to you! Umbra Cornuta

Crust with strings is a heartfelt and honest pairing. And the opening track Awoken is such a beautiful track, I can't help but listen to it on repeat. Gemma
